A Mindful Journey of Yohana Meyrida Simamora

I should have it posted last year considering it was last year trip with my family. It was on May 2014, my family came and visited me in Malang. My sister, Amzyella planned to go to Blitar. She wanted to visit the Tomb of Soekarno. We were blind about the roads in Malang, but the curiousity and the spirit of Dora the Explorer always win. We went to Blitar with me driving the car from Malang. It took approximately 2 to 3 hours driving. Thanks to Google Maps for directing us, although some directions were kind of misleading.  Our family, especially me and my sister love things about history and nature tourism. Our curiousity about history and nature tourism is really high compared to human-made places of entertainment, no matter how wonderful it might be.

This writing is super late post. I should have it posted last year, but excuses always win. So, I beg your pardon for another lame excuses. As I gave this writing a title: Road to Blitar, allow me to give you some insights of it. It was a  day working visit ( kunjungan kerja ), one of PIA Ranting 02 Cabang II Daerah II Skadron Udara 32'agenda. A short vacation, if I may say.  The officers wives of 32nd Air Squadron decided to visit Blitar. We went to Blitar by train. It cost Rp 10,000 from Malang, if I am not mistaken. It took 2 hours, more or less.  Blitar is such a small town. I have visited it twice. 1st trip to Blitar was with my family (Gonna write it later!) The town is really convenient: the people, the foods, the market, and etc are almost like other town in this country. Things that differ Blitar to other towns is it has places that other towns probably would not have. Curious? Pictures will satisfy the curiousity.

July, 2013 Rasanya hampir tidak dapat dipercaya sekarang ibu menulis soal ini kepada dua anak laki laki yang sangat membanggakan hati. Ibu tidak bisa lebih bersyukur atau meminta kepada Tuhan memperoleh putra yang lebih baik daripada kalian.  Kalian bertiga adalah anugerah terbesar dan terindah yang Tuhan berikan kepada ibu.   I could never ask for more...  Membesarkan kalian adalah masa masa terindah dalam hidupku, sekalipun itu harus ditukar dengan prospek perkembangan karir, ibu bahagia memilih menjadi ibu rumah tangga dan menyaksikan kalian tumbuh. Pada akhirnya ibu harus bicara soal jodoh, mengingat saat ini  kalian sudah cukup pusing dikejar kejar cewek yang tentu saja mengagumi kualitas yang ada dalam diri kalian. You were brought up with lots of love and values  from your parents. Never forget that. Rasanya ibu tidak harus  panjang lebar mengulang kembali bagaimana menjadi laki laki sejati .
